Dr. Raj H. Vhatkar (M.B.B.S., M.S. Orthopaedics) is a highly skilled Orthopaedic and Joint Replacement Surgeon with over 12 years of experience in orthopaedic trauma and fracture fixation, and more than 7 years of dedicated expertise in knee and hip arthroplasty.

He has extensive training and hands-on experience in primary and revision knee and hip replacement surgeries, including:
  • Robotic Total & Partial Knee Replacement using the Velys System (Johnson & Johnson)
  • Direct Anterior Approach (DAA) Hip Replacement
  • Minimally Invasive Subvastus Knee Replacement
  • Unicondylar Knee Replacement

Dr. Vhatkar has expereince in over 3000 joint replacement surgeries, including complex primary, revision cases, and more than 1200 robotic knee replacements. His expertise extends to orthopaedic trauma surgeries, emergency fracture fixation, paediatric orthopaedics, joint conservation strategies, and spine conservative treatment modalities.

    Dr. Raj Vhatkar is currently working as a Consultant Orthopaedics and Joint Replacement Surgeon at Vinayak General Hospital, Malad (West), Criticare Asia Hospital, Malad (West), and Wockhardt Hospital, Mira Road.
